System X is quite possibly the most technically advanced rechargeable cycling light on the market today. Period.
LUXEON Emitters: These are the most efficient and most powerful light sources on earth. One 3-watt LUXEON emitter in a System
X lamp is equivalent to a 12-15 watt halogen lamp, but since they use less power, you can get much longer runtimes. And LUXEON
emitters provide a pure white light that doesn´t dim or fade over time. And we worked closely with LUXEON to make sure that
System X lights get the most out of this powerful new technology.

Current: Onboard software regulates power to maximize light output throughout the run cycle. This results in a beam that
doesn´t dim as quickly as other high-powered LED systems. And you can only find Constant Current on Blackburn lights, including
the new Voyager 4.0.
SuperCharger: It´s not even fair to call it a charger, because it´s more like a docking station. Plug your battery into it whenever it´s not
in use. It´ll keep your battery charged up and ready to go indefinitely, which means you´ll get better runtimes and longer battery life.

Advanced Heat Management: Physics lesson: all lights make heat. And high-powered LED´s like our LUXEON´s and others have
an optimum temperature range. If they get too hot, it can cause dimming or emitter damage. The other guys combat this by actually
dimming their lights when they get warm. We thought that was lame, so we designed thermal heat management elements in
System X lamp heads. The result? They´ll never overheat. Combined with Constant Current Technology, this means we can drive
them harder for more light output, especially later in the run cycle.
